Ascension 2 has been a long time coming, and I’m very excited to finally release it to the world. It’s been quite the effort, and it’s changed quite a bit through the course of development. It’s not perfect and I’ll be the first to admit it, but I think it’s worth playing. It’s free, and a pretty quick play through once you get into it.
The second installment in the series is set a year after the first, in the greater galaxy instead of on Rynn and with Lieutenant Allison Hunt reprising her starring role. Hailed as the future of naval warfare, the brand new AXV Emergence barely leaves drydock before it disappears. Desperate to find the ship, the Navy brings all hands on deck, including Hunt, who was pulled from medical leave. She must lead a desperate chase through the depths of the galaxy and take back the hijacked ship before it’s too late.
